Testimonials of support
Having a doula for the birth of my son was the best decision I could have made. This was my first baby which of course comes with its own unique fears and excitements. Ashley was excellent at calming those fears and encouraging those excitements. I never knew how important it was to have someone be an advocate for you while pregnant, through delivery, and postpartum. Ashley is extremely compassionate, kind, and knowledgeable when it comes to babies, carrying them and the process of delivering them. I asked her so many questions and she always had an answer, she would still continue to do research to make sure I had all the information I needed if something in the plan changed. She believes strongly in the ability of moms, and I needed that to keep me going. She was my biggest cheerleader from the day I told her I was pregnant, to my first drops of harvesting colostrum, to ending up getting an induction and eventually an epidural and to even now when tell her about our good and bad days. Everyone should have a doula, and especially so when you want to do things as natural as possible. If you believe God made you to do this, then you should have Ashley by your side and in your corner.

FAQ
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, absolutely! I firmly believe that EVERYONE deserves a doula to be as supported as possible while giving birth. If a payment plan is what you need to make that happen, let’s make it happen!
Is a doula the same as a midwife?
No! You need both! A midwife’s job is to make sure you and baby are healthy and thriving. My job is to support you and your family. My focus is on you and your partner and how to make you the most comfortable. That might mean offering suggestions on movement, it might be helping you get into the tub, it might even be running to get your partner some lunch! But I will never do anything medical, I leave that to the professionals!
If you still have questions, please contact me and I’ll be happy to answer them.
